PARTNER was presented at the 35th Session of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ), held in Vienna, Austria, during the side event: “From Punitive Penal Systems to Rehabilitation: Insights from Europe and Central Asia”.
During the discussion, Vladislav Busmachiu from the National Administration of Penitentiaries of the Republic of Moldova highlighted the PARTNER project and its contribution to strengthening health literacy and health education in prison settings.
By supporting the co-creation of tailored training resources for both people living in prison and prison staff, PARTNER aims to empower prison communities with the knowledge and skills needed to improve health awareness, and prevention.
The project reflects the growing recognition that rehabilitation-oriented prison systems require not only effective policies, but also access to education, and health information.
