Our Project Objectives

The PARTNER project objectives drive our efforts to enhance health literacy and education within prison settings. Through collaboration between prison communities, research institutions, and academia, PARTNER aims to:

Empower Individuals: Provide People Living in Prisons (PLP) and prison staff with the knowledge and skills needed to take control of their health and boost their health literacy.

Develop Tailored Training: Create a comprehensive training program specifically designed for the diverse backgrounds and learning needs of PLP, ensuring inclusive education.

Promote Continuous Learning: Foster a sustainable culture of health education and learning within prison environments.

Foster Collaboration: Strengthen partnerships between prison communities, research institutions, and academia to co-create effective training solutions.

Build Capacity: Enhance the capabilities of partner organizations to develop and deliver high-quality, relevant health literacy training.
