The PARTNER project was featured at EUPHA 2025, the biggest public health conference in Europe. Erica De Vita from the University of Pisa presented the project during the scientific session “From expression to empowerment for health: participatory methods in vulnerable conditions.”

Her presentation, “Participation as Health Education: Co-creating Health Literacy in Italian Prisons,” highlighted the importance of participatory approaches in improving health literacy, strengthening empowerment, and promoting equitable access to healthcare for people living in prison.

Participation in EUPHA represents an important opportunity to increase visibility on prison health and to promote inclusive, evidence-based practices across European correctional settings.
